Camping Regenbogen, located in the German peninsula of Zingst, is the perfect place for peace-seekers, water sports (and kitesurfing) enthusiasts and bird watchers. In a deciduous forest
The simple grounds are located in a deciduous forest and are kept as naturally as possible. It's like taking a step back in time, a time when camping still meant freedom, peace and space. You can choose a spot in the sun, a spot that's partially shaded by deciduous trees or a spot that's almost entirely surrounded by greenery. There are bungalows for rent.
(Kite)surfing school
The Saaler Bodden lake is right at your feet. You can also swim in the Baltic Sea, on the other western side of the island. There is a (kite)surfing and canoeing school that also gives lessons. They also have equipment and gear for rent. There is a playground for children. In addition, there is an entertainment programme in the high season. Adjoining the grounds there is a climbing course and two kilometres away, you'll find a riding stable.
Snack bar
There is a campsite shop with a limited assortment and daily fresh bread. There is also a snack bar. In the neighbouring village of Born, 3.5 kilometres away, you'll find several restaurants and a supermarket.
An active area
The island is perfect for water sports, hiking and cycling tours. Born am Darβ is famous for being the kitesurfing place par excellence. You can take hikes in the Osterwald and the Daβerwald forests. Cyclists will be in cycling heaven on the Europa cycle path that runs along the campsite.
