Drewoldke is a well organised campsite on the coast of the island of Rugen. On the elongated campsite the most beautiful pitches, which also have the most shade, are for tent campers. Many families camp here. You can make interesting day trips from the campsite and enjoy walking and cycling through nature. You can swim in the sea nearby and sunbathe on the beach.

The campsite is located near a sand-gravel beach on the Baltic Sea, in the elongated island of Rugen. The island is characterised by the variegated coastline with chalk cliffs, sandy beaches and unique forests. There are well-constructed cycle roads and tracks in this flat landscape. Some 2 km away from the campsite you will find Altenkirchen, interesting both from a historical and practical (shopping options) point of view.
Sheltered camping between the dunes
On the elongated campsite you will find the fields for caravans on the one side and a (pine) forest strip for tent campers on the other side. The fields for tent campers have a natural demarcation and lots of shade. The pitches are beautifully located in small dune hollows. A little higher up is the site with rental caravans and chalets.
Beach within walking distance
Several pathways lead from the campsite to the adjacent sand-pebble beach. You can reach the beach within a few minutes.
Small but perfect
Camping Drewoldke has a small, but well-stocked campsite shop. The restaurant has a small menu and there is a snack bar. The sanitary facilities are housed in two large, new buildings: one for the terrain on the left and one for the terrain on the right. There are excellent facilities for disabled persons.
