Just above the town of Soltau is the park-like and orderly Campingplatz Auf dem Simpel. From your camping pitch, you can walk or cycle to one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the state of Lower Saxony: the Lüneburger Heide. Those who like to enjoy the outdoor life in peace and quiet can easily alternate that with a dip in the pool and visits to the restaurant.

A tent, a caravan or a wine barrel

The campsite is very diverse and consists of landscaped alleys with spacious pitches on grassy terrain. There are few tall trees, which creates a pleasant and open atmosphere. At the edge of the forest, tent campers can set up a pitch.

A number of campervan spaces are available just outside the site, and the campsite also has several permanent pitches. If you're looking for a comfortable accommodation, the wine barrels might be a good idea. There are also mobile homes, lodges, guest rooms and a holiday home.

German cosiness in the Biergarten

Even if you don't drink beer, the beer garden and the cosily decorated terrace hold considerable appeal. In addition to a simple menu, you can enjoy a drink here on the partially covered terrace. Or you can sit inside, because it is attractively furnished there as well. In the summer months, they serve delicacies from the grill once or twice a week. In the morning, the smell of fresh bread will welcome you. If you really want to make things easy for yourself at the start of the day, you can sign up for a breakfast buffet in advance. There is also a campsite shop offering groceries and camping supplies.

wir waren das 2te Mal da & auch wieder sehr zufrieden, wir mögen die Einteilung der Stellplätze & das drumherum .. die Sanitäranlagen sind super sauber & das Restaurant spitze ... außerdem mögen wir die Lage als Ausganspunkt für Ausflüge .. wir werden auch ein 3tes Mal wiederkommen

Der Behindertenwaschraum ist nicht abschließbar und wird von Nichtbehinderten benutzt. Die Behinderten dürfen ja stundenlang warten.
Der Kiesweg ist mit dem Rollstuhl nicht befahrbar. Am Rollator der behinderten Person sind die Reifen von den scharfen Steinen zerschnitten worden. Der Campingplatzbesitzer ist seinen gesetzlichen Verpflichtungen für eine barrierefreie Nutzung nicht nachgekommen.

Gepflegter Platz mit allem was man sich für einen Urlaub wünscht. Besonders die San. Anlagen sind super gepflegt. Die Plätze an der Straße sind etwas unruhig durch den Verkehr. Ideal für Heideparkbesucher, der Park ist fußläufig zu erreichen (800m).
Der Platz ist zu empfehlen.

Wir werden nie wieder kommen.
Waren mit dem WOMO, 3 Hunden und unserer Enkeltochter für 6 Nächte da.
Parzellen mit grauem Mineralgemisch geschottert. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man den Tisch zig mal abwischen will.
Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man ständig schwarzen Dreck in der Nase und zwischen den Zähnen gut findet.
Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man zu Hause dann ALLES waschen möchte und das WOMO anschließend überall im innen Raum schruppen möchte, obwohl man das vorher erst gründlich getan hat.
Ganz toll ist es auch, wenn man trotz Reservierung mit 3 Hunden einen Platz zugewiesenen bekommt, wo alle Gassi gänger mit ihren Hunden am Waldrand entlang gehen ( außerhalb des Campingplatzes) sehr erholsam.
Fazit, Waschmaschine lief 4 Tage ohne Unterbrechung, 2 volle Tage WOMO innen Reinigung( ohne saugen und wischen).
Die einzige die Spaß hatte, war unsere Enkeltochter, da viele andere Kinder da waren und Sie auch in den Pool konnte.
Ansonsten 5 MINUS Sterne für den Platz.
Steht in keinen guten preisleistungs Verhältnis!!
