Explore the Harz
Climb the highest mountain of the Harz and northern Germany, the Brocken (1141 meters). You can do this on foot, but what might be even more fun is taking the steam train from Drei Annen Hohne (54 km). It takes you to the top of the mountain in about 40 minutes.
