Camping by the Dümmer See in Germany’s Lower Saxony can be done at Camping Dümmer See. The campsite is in a rural setting with many cycle routes. The lake is ideal for water sports. Camping Dümmer See consists of two smaller campsites that are 450 metres apart. The campsites belong to the same owner and the joint reception can be found at the camping site right on the lake, Camping Dümmer See C10. The second campsite, Camping Dümmer See C12, is closer to the village centre.

Camping equipment easily set level
Camping Dümmer See C12 has the tent field and several touring pitches. You camp on grass here. The majority of C10’s pitches are right by the lake. You camp here on partially paved pitches. Large tiles make it easy for you to level your motorhome or caravan. The tiles are surrounded by grass, so the awning or canopy is on the grass. You can also choose to stay in a wooden pod, a caravan, gypsy wagon or an apartment.
Recreation around Dümmer See
Young campsite guests will have fun in the adventurous playground on the banks of the lake. Feel like swimming? You can swim in the lake, too. Water sports enthusiasts can rent a stand-up paddleboard at reception, and the sailing and surf school is within walking distance. The local indoor swimming pool, with a sauna and mini golf course, is within walking distance, as are the supermarket and bakery. A large restaurant, which serves mainly German dishes, is located at the entrance to the campsite.
