The campsite is located on Lake Wißmarer See in central Hesse. You will be camping in a vast recreational area with many possibilities. With so much nature and water around you, this campsite is ideal for families with children and couples alike. Take a dip in the lake, go canoeing on the river or hiking and cycling in the surrounding area. This is holidaying as it was meant to be.

Camping around the lake

The campsite pitches are nicely situated around the lake. So you almost always have a beautiful view from your pitch! The pitches vary in size, from 60 m² to 100 and even 120 m². There are pitches in both the sun and shade. Don't have your own camping equipment? No problem, you can rent a tent or caravan. The sanitary facilities are clean and easily accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Building sandcastles and swimming

The lake has a lovely sandy beach where the children can build sandcastles and you can enjoy the sun on your beach towel. Of course, for a refreshing dip you can simply jump into the water. For water fun you can also go to the river Lahn. This river surrounds the campsite. You can also take beautiful canoe trips along beautiful forests. The area is also perfect for hiking and cycling.
