Camping in a peaceful ambience, in woody surroundings and directly by a lovely recreational lake. All this awaits you when you stay at Knattercamping in Bantikow, in the German state of Brandenburg. Knattercamping is a neatly laid out and well maintained family campsite. Those looking for peace and quiet and families with young children especially appreciate this campsite. There is also a separate FKK section (naturist area).

Wonderful camping in a wooded setting

On the wooded grounds of Knattercamping, well-kept paths lead to different camping fields that are clearly separated from each other. The campsite also has a separate (naturally demarcated) FKK area. In the high season, Knattercamping is mainly frequented by German and Danish families. Furthermore, in the low season, mainly pensioners and families with young children are present.

Recreational lake with several sandy beaches

This campsite is located directly on the beautiful recreational lake Bantikower See. Several sandy beaches belong to the site, including a special dog beach and a FKK beach. The latter is directly accessible from the naturist part of the campsite. In addition to being a great place to swim, the lake also offers various water sports.

Shopping tips

At the entrance of the campsite you will find a small shop with a limited supply. You can buy delicious bread here. Would you like to do more extensive shopping? Then you can go to Wusterhausen, about a five-minute drive from the campsite. In Wusterhausen you will also find a number of good and charming restaurants for an enjoyable evening out.

Campingplatz-Erlebnisbericht
„Hier auf dem Campingplatz herrscht ein besonderes Flair.“ So haben es einige Camper beschrieben, und ich kann dem nur zustimmen.
Der familiengeführte Campingplatz hat uns besonders wegen seiner einzigartigen Lage angesprochen. Er liegt in einem kleinen Wäldchen und bietet dennoch eigene Badestrände. Hier können Kinder, Familien, FKK-Anhänger und Hundefreunde jeweils ihre eigenen Wasserzugänge genießen.
Platzaufteilung Der Campingplatz ist teils von Dauercampern belegt, aber es stehen auch schöne, große Stellplätze für Urlauber zur Verfügung. Die kleinen angelegten Gassen sind Sackgassen, wodurch kein Durchgangsverkehr zu erwarten ist. Ein Spielplatz und ein Streichelzoo mit süßen Schweinchen und Ziegen bieten den Kindern eine willkommene Abwechslung zum Wassersport.
Sanitäranlagen Ein massives Sanitärgebäude bietet alles, was wir als Camper benötigen: Duschen mit Münzen, Waschräume, Toiletten, Waschmaschine, Trockner und WC-Ausguss. Die Anlagen machten einen hellen und freundlichen Eindruck und waren zu jeder Zeit sauber. In der Putz-Zeit oder bei höherer Platzbelegung steht noch ein weiterer WC-Trakt zur Verfügung. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die ausreichenden Ablagen, Bänke, Haken sowie die Bereitstellung von Seife und Toilettenpapier – leider keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr.
Versorgung Nach Voranmeldung gibt es in der Anmeldung frische Brötchen. Dort konnten wir auch das eine oder andere Eis kaufen. Manchmal hätten wir uns noch einen kleinen Imbiss gewünscht, damit die Kinder zwischen dem Badespaß ein paar Pommes, Würstchen oder Nuggets kaufen können.
Freizeit Mitten im See gibt es eine kleine Insel mit einem empfehlenswerten Restaurant. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken, wie Ritter Kalebutz, Wusterhausen, Kyritz oder etwas weiter entfernt Wittstock, Rheinsberg, Mirow und das Slawendorf in Neustrelitz.
Wir hatten das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Familie Siemer hat ein Auge für Details: „Ihr Urlauber sollt euch in der schönsten Zeit des Jahres bei uns wohlfühlen.“ Das haben wir! Und wir kommen gern wieder.
