Strandcamping Waging Am See in southern Germany is an ideal place for families with children. Because you are right on the Waginger See, you have plenty of water recreation at your disposal. Located in the beautiful Bavarian landscape, the area also offers many lovely excursions. On the campground, you can have a nice drink on the terrace by the water. Dogs are welcome.

The Bavarian region is the ideal location for anyone who wants to relax during their holiday and also actively explore nature and cultural and historic cities. If you camp at Strandcamping Waging Am See, you'll enjoy this combination. Relax for an afternoon on the lovely lake, then visit the capital city of Bavaria, Munich, or go to the Eagle's Nest (the former home of Adolf Hitler).

Waginger See: for people and animals

Camping by the lake also naturally means that you are camping near plenty of water fun! The campground has a large beach with play equipment, slides that end in the water and bouncy cushions. A little further on there is a surf and sailing school, and you can hire boats. The beach is divided up into various sections. There is a fitness section and a dock for boats. The beach can be optimally utilized!

There's not only the beach to experience, all kinds of things are organised on the rest of the campground. For example, play a round of mini golf or take part in the mini-golf tournament. Children will love the torch walks, Indian days and water fights. Real football lovers from 6-15 years of age can train with two professional footballers every Monday in the high season.

Travelling party: Couple

Der Platz ist bekanntlich sehr groß. Trotzdem konnten wir uns – tendenziell kritisch – gut erholen. Wir haben eine sehr gute Organisation erlebt. Die Lage am Waginger See und am Rand der Alpen ist traumhaft. Hiermit punktet der Platz. Drei Sanitärhäuser sind tipptopp sauber, zwei davon in einem neuwertigen Zustand. Es gibt einen Supermarkt mit den wesentlichen Dingen für Camper. Natürlich gibt es auch Brötchen/Semmeln. Uns haben sie nicht geschmeckt, da wir sie als sehr trocken wahrgenommen haben. Das ist aber natürlich eine stets individuelle und persönliche Beurteilung. Natürlich gibt es aufgrund der vielen Menschen auch zahlreiche Hunde und Kinder. Trotz zahlreicher Kinder, war es stets ruhig im Stellplatzbereich. Wir haben keinerlei Hundehaufen wahrgenommen, die nicht weggemacht wurden. Vielmehr waren alle Hundehalter sehr aufmerksam und ordentlich, wie es natürlich auch zu erwarten ist. Schade fanden wir, dass Hunde selbst im Bereich der Hundeliegewiese angeleint werden sollen. Das macht für uns als Hundefans überhaupt keinen Sinn, ist aber so. Wir können den Platz in jedem Fall weiter empfehlen. Er ist sicherlich ein Highlight auch, wenn für uns nicht alles perfekt war. Das geht aber auch nicht. Klasse ist, dass es auch noch einen Campingshop von Berger gibt. Auch hier findet man ganz viele Anregungen für die eine oder andere Investitionen. Man kann tolle Wanderungen, Ausfahrten mit dem Fahrrad unternehmen und auch Ziele mit dem Pkw ansteuern. In der Summe war es eine wirklich gute Zeit. Wir kommen bestimmt irgendwann einmal wieder. Vielfach werden die Hundehalter bei diesem Platz kritisiert. Wir meinen, wer keine Hunde auf einem Campingplatz haben möchte, der möge doch einen Platz buchen, bei welchem Hunde untersagt sind.
