Sehr schöner, ruhiger Campingplatz, direkt am Main gelegen. Sanitäranlagen sehr sauber, viele Ausflugs Möglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung. Hatten einen erholsamen, schönen Aufenthalt auf den Campingplatz.

Seit 2003 kommen wir immer wieder nach LIF, früher mit mehreren Familien, mit vielen Kindern, heute sind diese groß - und wir kommen immer noch, nun als Gruppe mit Freunden.
Kinder MÜSSEN hier schwimmen können, denn der Platz ist von 2 Seiten umgeben mit dem Main und einem Baggersee - gefährlich für Nichtschwimmer !!! - aber ein Riesenspass für Schwimmer & SUP-Fahrer, Kanu-Fahrer und alle „Wasser-Ratten“.
Bei einer Familie mit einem Einzelkind wird es dem wohl schnell langweilig (deswegen und wegen der Gefährlichkeit für Nichtschwimmer habe ich nur 3 Sterne für Kinderfreundlichkeit vergeben) sobald mehrere Kids zusammen sind, haben aber alle ganz sicher ihren Spaß.
Vom Platz aus kann man easy mit Fahrrädern (auch ohne „E“) in die hübsche Stadt fahren, oder die Umgebung erkunden. Direkt am See ist das „karibische Eck“, der Stadtstrand. In ca 1/2km Entfernung ist die Wichert-Brauerei mit Biergarten. In Fahrrad-Entfernung sind Edeka und Netto, ne Dönerbude, ein Pizzabäcker und auch ein Hallenbad.
Der Campingplatz ist zum Glück KEIN „Glampingplatz“, aber er ist auch kein Fetenplatz. Man kann hier entspannt urlauben, grillen, in den Tag hineinleben - oder auch aktiv in der Umgebung sein. Er hat saubere Toiletten/Waschräume/Duschen (nur mit E-Chip) zu öffnen) und einen sauberen Spülraum - und ganz wichtig - eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Chefin in der Rezeption!
Ca 1/3 ist belegt mit Dauercampern. Es gibt große Plätze für WoMo, WoWa und Zelte.
Wir werden auch weiterhin ganz sicher immer wieder nach LIF kommen. Vielleicht treffen wir uns ja mal dort

Ein kleiner, familiärer Campingplatz für jung und alt. Sanitäranlagen sind zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch immer sauber. Viele Möglichkeiten für Freizeitaktivitäten. Lebensmittelgeschäfte in der Nähe. Platzwartin ist top.
