Amid the rolling surroundings of the beautiful Bavarian countryside, less than two km from the village by the same name, lies Camping Hohenwarth. The campsite is located on a through road, village. On the northern side of the campsite you will find the meandering Weißer Regen, a tributary of the Danube. There is also a small lake, where you can swim, fish or float in a boat.

Spacious campsite
There are spacious pitches throughout the grounds, some of which located near the playground and others by the lake. The sanitary facilities are pristine and well maintained. Bread, drinks and newspaper are available in the shop. You can do your other shopping in nearby Hohenwarth.
Swimming and fishing
Children can enjoy themselves at the lake and in the playground. The lake also offers good fishing opportunities. You can join a (supervised) treasure hunt on the campsite. The river is suitable for canoeing. In the immediate vicinity of the campsite there are a large number of walking and cycling routes, leading through the magnificent nature of the Kötztinger Land. When the weather is inclement, you can make use of the indoor swimming pool with sauna on the campsite. Not to be sneezed at either...
Dragons in Furth
The immediate vicinity of the campsite offers ample opportunities for nice day trips. Children will definitely be keen to visit the Dragon Museum in Furth im Walt, at a distance of some twenty km from Hohenwarth. Each year in August there is a traditional dragon festival, a five hundred-year old tradition you cannot afford to miss.
