In the middle of Steigerwald Nature Park, in typical Bavaria, you will find Camping Weihersee. As the name suggests, the campsite is situated on the shores of the lake of the same name. The campsite is interwoven in a network of walking and cycling routes, which take you to the most beautiful spots of the nature park. The campsite also has a nature experience park with a large climbing track.

Sleeping in a wine barrel

Camping Weihersee is a terraced campsite divided into a number of elongated grassy areas, across which the pitches are distributed. Trees and bushes provide some privacy and the pitches are on grass on either side of two paved paths. Do you want something different? Then choose one of the special rental accommodations. At this campsite you can spend the night in a wine barrel!

Nature pool

In addition to the nature experience park, the campsite also has a well-equipped playground and there are a number of sports fields next to the site. You can also swim in the chlorine-free Acqua Sana natural swimming pool, which is located 300 metres from the campsite. Here you can also enjoy the sun on the large sunbathing lawn.

For the tasty appetite

To round off an active day you can go to the Acqua Sana restaurant on the sun terrace. Or at one of the restaurants in Ebrach, five minutes from the campsite. Here you will find a pizzeria, among other things. At the campsite's kiosk you can order fresh rolls delivered direct to your caravan! They also sell Weiherer beer and honey from their own bee hives.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

We hebben achterop de camping gestaan. Plaatsen zonder water. Ver weg van het toiletgebouw. Achterop waren 4 wc\'s en 1 urinoir was erg oud. Vanaf vrijdagavond een paar grote groepen op de camping. Tot 2 uur \'s nachts lawaaig. Volgende dag om 6.30 weer gillende kinderen. Tip boek plek met water vooraan op de camping, betere plekken. Receptioniste was niet erg blij. Receptie was standaard gesloten. Moest steeds bellen bij vragen.

Mooie vakantie gevierd met onze vier kinderen. Heerlijk gespeeld in de speeltuin en elke dag een mooie fietstocht gemaakt en een duik in het zwembad.
