Camping Stein is close to the town of Bad Endorf in the hilly southeast of Bavaria. Here, you camp in wooded surroundings with many large lakes. The most well-known (and most touristic) lake in this area is the Chiemsee. If you would rather stay in a slightly quieter area, a better holiday destination would be the Simssee located slightly further west. Camping Stein is right by this lake. From the campsite's grassy beach, you can literally walk straight into the wonderful water of the Simssee. You camp on a neatly maintained campsite in Bavarian style, with many playing options for (young) children and surprisingly good snack bar.

Wine barrels, chalets and many touring pitches
You can meet the campsite owners, the Stein family, at the friendly reception. The first time you walk or drive across the site, you will soon notice that this is a structured and well-maintained campsite. Tourist camping pitches are clearly in the majority at this spaciously laid out site.
If you book a camping pitch at Camping Stein, you could get a spacious grass pitch, or a pitch with a gravel surface is also a possibility. There is a large tent field, the Bulliwiese, by reception. You can also hire a luxury chalet or mobile home. Or spend the night in a charming wooden wine barrel.
Swimming in the child-friendly Simssee
This campsite has a private beach by Simssee. The bottom of this lake slopes very gently. So, it's ideal for children! There is a lovely playground beside the grass sunbathing meadow, where children can have plenty of fun.
