Campinggarten Wahlwies lies in the south of Germany, between fruit orchards and close to Lake Constance. On this small family campsite, you can savour the peace of the countryside, whilst camping under apple trees. However, tourism around Lake Constance is also close at hand. The camping pitches on Campinggarten Wahlwies are spaciously laid out and the recently renovated sanitary facilities look immaculate.

Camping under apple trees

The campsite is modestly sized, so that the campsite owners are able to pay attention to each guest. Fruit farming, which you will often come across in the area, also plays an important role here. The spacious camping pitches at the front section of the campsite are located under the apple trees. Further towards the back are more camping pitches, also spaciously laid out, on an open field. 

Modern toilet facilities

There are two buildings with sanitary facilities, one of which has very recently been upgraded (2018). The other building will be renovated in 2019. 

Catering

You can purchase a few groceries and regional products at the reception of this small family campsite. Further shopping can be done in the village of Wahlwies (2 km) or Stahringen (4 km). You are spoilt for choice when you want to go out for a meal. For instance in Bodman (6 km), with view of Lake Constance, or near the glider airfield of Stahringen.

Also for four-legged companions

Furthermore, the campsite has a small playground with a jungle gym and a table tennis table. Your four-legged companions will also enjoy themselves on Campinggarten Wahlwies. There is a dedicated playing field and a separate dog shower for them.

Den Campinggarten Wahlwies besuchen wir regelmäßig im Frühjahr oder Herbst.
Wir genießen die Ruhe inmitten der Obstplantagen. Vom Platz aus sind herrliche Spaziergänge mit dem Hund möglich. Das Betreiberehepaar ist sehr freundlich und trägt wesentlich zu der sehr entspannten Atmosphäre bei.

Waren im März 2024 für 10 Tage auf dem Campingplatz. Sehr schöner Platz mit sehr sauberem und schönem Sanitär. Idealer Ausgangspunkt an den Bodensee und Umgebung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren zum 3. Mal, immer Sep/Okt, auf diesem herrlichen Campingplatz. Auf einer Streuobstwiese gelegen und direkt an den Apfelplantagen. Was für ein Apfelduft ringsherum. Herrlich ruhig und weit ab vom Massentourismus. Hunde sind hier wirklich willkommen. Idealer Startpunkt für viele Ausflugsziele. Sanitär tiptop. Betreiber mit Herzblut dabei. Wir kommen wieder.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Sehr ruhig gelegener Platz. Das Betreiberpärchen legt großen Wert auf das Wohl der Gäste. Sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen, die ständig gereinigt werden. Täglicher Brötchenservice, das direkt zu einem gebracht wird. Es gibt selbstgebackenen Kuchen, der super lecker schmeckt. Hunde erlaubt, von denen man nichts mitbekommen hat (waren gut erzogen).

Wir waren schon zum dritten Mal dort und dieses Mal mit unserem WoMo-Stammtisch. Es war wieder alles perfekt und die Freundlichkeit war auch wieder super.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich begrüßt und in die Gepflogenheiten eingewiesen. Über den gesamten Aufenthalt fühlten wir uns prima betreut. Der Platz samt Sanitäranlagen ist sehr sauber, im hinteren Teil ruhig und geräumig. Hunde sind willkommen und das Miteinander klar geregelt.
Wir können diesen Campingplatz mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.
