Sperrfechter Freizeit-Park is a modest campsite with an attractive setting by several lakes. Perfect for swimming, paddling or fishing. A number of facilities may be slightly dated, but the staff members are helpful and friendly. You can choose your own field and pitch and enjoy all types of water activities.

Spacious fields and siesta

The pitches are spacious and the overgrowth offers a bit of privacy. You can choose between various pitches, the most beautiful of which are located by the bathing water. There are also rental mobile homes. You will find quite a lot of German guests here and a smaller number of Dutch people. In peak season there are mainly families and in low season often senior citizens. Between 13:00 and 15:00 is siesta time on the campsite.

Fun in the water

The various lakes are suitable for a range of activities, such as swimming, rowing, fishing or canoeing. Dogs can swim and splash around in the river outside the camping grounds. They will just love this! A very special feature: barefoot walking through the salutary spring water basins. You can get information about this from the reception.

Shop and sanitary facilities

The shop stocks the basic necessities. The sanitary facilities have recently been renovated. There are special provisions for children and for guests with disabilities. The restaurant is not always open; it depends on the availability of a manager. Fortunately, the village of Oedheim is close by.

No driver needed

Gasthaus zur Krone is a real topper for a tasty and affordable meal. They also have an attractive Biergarten. It is a twenty minute walk. This means you do not have to crawl behind the steering wheel to get back ...
