At L'île de Chéran Campsite you'll be camping in the Savoie, close to the border with the Haute-Savoie. Surrounded by mountains and forest, L'île du Chéran Campsite is a good base for sporty campers. You can practice various water sports such as water skiing in the recreational lake next to the campsite.

Beautiful surroundings

Campers choose this campsite mainly because of its beautiful location. It lies directly on a recreational lake and close to the Chéran river. You'll enjoy a view of the surrounding mountains and the green environment from your camping pitch. The medium-sized campsite has many camping spots, but you can also rent accommodation here. The campsite is suitable for sporty campers because you can walk and cycle endlessly in the area. Don't feel like cooking? Then you can eat in the campsite restaurant where simple dishes are served.

Fun in the water

You are guaranteed to have fun in the water at L'île du Chéran Campsite. The campsite is located directly on a small recreational lake with a water ski track. Here you can wakeboarding on a cable installation. This lake is also suitable for anglers. Right next to the campsite (300 metres away) is a lake where you can swim, canoe, rent a pedal boat or go paddleboarding. Ideal for cooling off on hot days. There is even a waterslide that you can whiz down. There is also a beach with a sunbathing area where you can enjoy the warmth of the sun.

Liked - A lot of green, nice walks, quiet, no mosquitos
Disliked - Urinals in the men's sanitary would improve availability and cleanliness of toilets.
Cleaning of sanitary spaces could be better.

Liked - It is well organized, clean, well maintained, well equipped, with good services and beautiful green camping spots in beautiful nature. There is the possibility of many activities, hiking, biking, water sports, ... Also good restaurants with an evening program.

Liked - By the river and the shade on pitches. Facilities ( freezer, room to relax and watch tv , restaurant nearby ). Peaceful.
Disliked - Toilets and bathrooms are not very clean. Location a little bit remote

Liked - Nice location, good reception, Le Pont, walking distance has very nice shops.
Swimming area and a number of other activities. Overall very enjoyable
Disliked - Next to our site, a multi-family group. No consideration for other campers. On the last day thought it acceptable to dump their coffee grinds at the foot of the water/ power outlet.
