Camping International de l'Ile aux Cygnes is situated at the foot of the Alps and the Jura, in the Savoie Departement. The campsite is in a lovely setting: directly on the Lac du Bourget. The fairly large campsite has a private small boat harbour. The pitches are also spacious. The most beautiful pitches are directly located at the lake shore.

Water sports and safe splashing

Due to its location on the large Lac du Bourget, the campsite attracts many water sports enthusiasts. The campsite has a private pebble beach on the lake. The water temperature can go as high as 26 degrees in summer. The water close to the shore is not very deep, so it is safe for children.

The campsite has a volleyball field, a pétanque court, two playgrounds for children, two table tennis tables and several games, such as a pinball machine and video games.

Luxury accommodation

Apart from in a caravan, motorhome or tent you can spend the night in one of the ten chalets and mobile homes. These are suitable for two to eight persons and offer all amenities. There are three ablution blocks spread over the campsite with spacious shower cubicles and toilets, as well as a toilet for disabled persons. There is a dedicated section with a compacted surface for motorhomes. There is an automated entrance, allowing you to come and go when you want.

Le Swan: a fine bistro

The campsite has its own bistro, Le Swan, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner on the terrace. Take-away meals are also offered. This way you can enjoy meals in your own surroundings.

"A unique location on the edge of the 'Lac de Bourget'. There is a fairly large supervised beach. Only the pitches closest to the lake are on pebbles and without shade. An attractive campsite for water sports enthusiasts."

Séjour très agréable, dans un cadre magnifique. Nous y étions hors période. Très belle région. Camping très bien entretenu et calme. Très reposant.
Aucunes critiques négatives à redire (alors que nous sommes exigeants). Tout le personnel est très sympathique (accueil, agents d'entretien espaces verts, personnels entretien sanitaires), sans oublier le personnel du snack où l'on s'est régalé avec leurs bons petits plats régionaux. Les rillettes maison sont à tomber par terre. Un grand merci à tous et félicitations. Nous recommandons vivement ce camping.
C'était la 1ère fois que nous y allions et avons hâte d'y retourner l'année prochaine pour la même période.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits sans pouvoir dormir à cause de musique avec le son à fond en face du camping . Baignade agréable dans le lac avec plage privée. Très peu de sanitaires disponibles en septembre car ils sont fermés.Situé proche de la piste cyclable le long du lac .

Camping très bien situé au sud du lac du Bourget avec sa plage réservée aux campeurs, sanitaires assez vétustes par contre.
La gestion de la buvette laisse par contre à désirer: après 30mn d’attente, il a été impossible de se faire servir 2 bières en terrasse vers 20:30 - ni de les acheter à l’emporter au shop (!) - tant les 2 personnes présentes semblaient débordées…tout en privilégiant le copinage dans les priorités du service! :-(
De plus, aucune discipline pour exiger de garder les chiens en laisse: nous avons assistés à plusieurs « rencontres animales » assez effrayantes!!!
