The Huttopia Bourg-St-Maurice campsite is located in the high mountains of Savoy, on the edge of the Vanoise National Park. This is a large and well-maintained campsite with new sanitary facilities and spacious pitches. From the pitches on the verdant campsite you have a view of the surrounding Alps. A great place for the active camper.

Spacious camping

There are around 130 pitches on the spacious campsite. These vary in size, but most of them are quite large. You can choose a nature pitch or a comfort pitch. The nature pitches (without electricity) are especially nice for tent campers: they are situated on a sloping part of the site, in the shade of a tree or in the sun. The comfort pitches are slightly more spacious and do have electricity. In addition, there are around twenty-five paved camper pitches and almost three times as many rental units.

Swimming with a mountain view

There are three swimming pools on a sun deck close to the reception. One of them is a paddling pool. From the completely new swimming pools and the sun loungers on the sun deck you look out over the high mountains. The campsite is situated in the blazing sun, but even in less warm weather you can take a dip. The water is heated.

Pizza from the ‘Roulotte’

If you are camping in high season and you feel like a pizza or a cool drink, go and look for the ‘Roulotte” by the pool. They serve snacks and drinks there during the summer months. In the morning you can go there for fresh bread. You can do your daily shopping in Bourg-St-Maurice. This is a tourist town with many amenities.

Travelling party: Seniors

Camping gebruikt als overnachtingscamping. Alles basic maar prima voor een nacht. Supermarkt met tankstation op 500 meter afstand.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Camping zelf vrij basic, plekken ok, niet heel ruim, aan de randen dicht aan de weg gelegen en doet niet heel bosrijk/natuurlijk aan. Groot camper parkeerterrein midden op de camping wat wij minder aansprekend vonden. Verhuur accommodaties liggen eigenlijk op het aantrekkelijkste deel van het terrein. Maar het grote pluspunt: dit is de perfecte uitvalbasis voor uitstapjes de bergen in. Sanitair en zwembad van bekende huttopia kwaliteit, speelweide, grote supermarkten op loopafstand en veel Nederlandse kids om mee te spelen.

Travelling party: Seniors

Goed verzorgde camping met attente medewerkers. Goed onderhouden (schoon) sanitair. Tegenover camping 2 supermarkten en op ruim kilometer een derde. Omgeving mooi om te toeren, te wandelen en zelfs met de stadsfiets zijn er een paar routes, o.a. via een Voie Verte naar Aime. Camping is een goede uitvalbasis voor het verkennen van de Vanoise en Beaufortain.
