Camping de la Plage is a surprising campsite, situated on the Lac de Monteynard, in the lesser-known region of Trièves. The campsite, near the town of Treffort (some 35 km south of Grenoble) is a real gem, waiting to be discovered by sporty holidaymakers. The large number of trees provide ample shade on the terraced campsite. All pitches differ in size and location. The campsite and surrounding area are ideally suited for activities which are of interest to active campers of all age groups.

Various pitches on terraced campsite

Upon arrival, you will see the shaded terraces with all types of trees. You will find the reception in the brick building, where the helpful owners will gladly assist you. You have a wide choice here, as no two pitches are similar. In addition to spacious pitches, you can on the highest terrace also opt for a lodge tent or a dedicated accommodation for bicycle campers.

Water sports and walking

Camping de la Plage is situated on the beautiful blue lake, near the port of call Le Mira. This location and the sporty disposition of the owners make this campsite extremely suitable for sporty campers, also with children of all age groups. Water sports and walking are favourite. There is a sailing/kitesurfing school and you can cross the lake by boat. Walking over the two passerelles (hanging footbridges) is also a lot of fun. To get to the public beach, you cross a small road from the campsite.

Restaurant and sanitary facilities

The campsite restaurant is near the reception and also has seats in the garden. You have a view of the lake and the mountains. The sanitary facilities are housed in two buildings. Both are tidy and clean.
