Camping Le Daxia is situated in a splendid green area in the Roussillon, close to the town of Saint-Clair-du-Rhône. The campsite borders on the Varèze river, where you can splash around and build dams. The grounds are very well laid out, with many trees and flowers and radiates the atmosphere of the Provence. There is a swimming pool with slide and a playful children's pool. You can eat on a shaded terrace at the restaurant-pizzeria.

Provençal atmosphere

Although the campsite is strictly speaking not located in the Provence, it has an undeniable Provençal ambiance with its greenery, the flowers, the ochre-coloured dwellings with tiled roofs and Provençal brickwork. The grounds are well maintained and have a clear street pattern. The amenities, such as reception, are housed in attractive buildings. The camping pitches are varied, but all spacious and surrounded by hedges, trees or flowers. Not all pitches are demarcated; there are also some pitches with facilities for campers.

Chalet or studio

If you prefer the luxury of a cottage, you can rent a modern studio or a basic, wooden chalet at Le Daxia, suitable for 2-6 persons. They look like log cabins and are fitted with a covered terrace.

Building dams

The swimming pool has a unique construction style with towers around it and a slide. There is limited shelter, but is in a beautiful setting surrounded by a terrace and sun loungers. The children's swimming pool also has a playful design and is large. The river Varèze, bordering the campsite, offers even more water fun. There is playground equipment for the children, including a wooden school bus to play in.

Travelling party: Couple

A very well maintained site. facilities are excellent. Pitches are well defined and well maintained. they are level but do look as if they could be quite wet in wet conditions. That is, drainage could be an issue. Electricity is 6amps which may be an issue for some larger MHs.

Stayed one night as passing through. very friendly welcome. place was empty but beautifully laid out and got to pick our own spot. toilet facilities very good. pleasant stay.couldn’t t rate food and drink, sports facilities and pool as too early in season.
