Le Colporteur campsite is a friendly family campsite in the Écrins National Park. It is well suited to cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts. The campsite offers spacious camping pitches and chalets for the very best in relaxation and comfort. This four-star campsite is located between the steep mountains of eastern France and very close to the centre of Bourg d'Oisans.

More than enough space

Every camping pitch has an area of around 100 m2 and all are separated by hedges, so there's plenty of space. Chalets come in all shapes and sizes, with space for anywhere between 3 and 8 people. One of the chalets is specially equipped for people with physical disabilities. All are spacious, have their own kitchen and bathroom, enjoy beautiful green surroundings and are complemented by a patio area with fantastic views.

Outdoor enthusiasts

Campers at Le Colporteur are true outdoor enthusiasts. With such a beautiful landscape, what would you expect? The surroundings are ideal for (mountain) hiking, cycle rides and winter sports. The lakes and rivers of the National Park offer a variety of sports, from rafting to fishing.

Alpe d'Huez

Le Colporteur is at the foot of Alpe d'Huez, a mountain pasture made famous through its association with the Tour de France. Take your racing bike or mountain bike with you and tackle the 21 notorious hairpin bends as you climb the mountain. In the winter, the mountain is a fantastic location for skiing.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Facilities very clean, pool was nice for the children, good variety of activities and games, spacious pitch.
Disliked - Having to move half way through the week (but we did book late). Also, the surface around the pool was very painful to walk on in bare feet.

Liked - We had an amazing time at Camping la Piscine. It’s in a great location for an active holiday. The pool is brilliant for swimming training. The ability to order daily baguettes and croissants made life so easy! We’ll be back!

Liked - The mobilehome was new
Disliked - The management.
A kitchen shelf was installed incorrectly and fell down. We were charged 77 euros for 5 small broken plates and bowls, but we had nothing to do with it. The staff went in to hour mobilehome without permission or knocking on the door and opened the kitchen cabinets.
We are very unhappen with the decision from the manager that we have to pay for broken plates caused to incorrectly installed kitchen cabinets. We have pictures that document the incorrectly installation.
