Enjoy peace and tranquillity at this small-scale campsite in the heart of the Drôme Provençale. La Ferme de Clareau Campsite is a wonderful place for peace seekers, nature lovers, hikers and cyclists. Campers with and without children can enjoy a relaxing summer holiday here, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. At this campsite you can count on a personal welcome and unrivalled hospitality. It is not for nothing that many campers come back again and again.

Camping by the river

The campsite has 42 camping pitches situated at various elevations and ranging from spacious to very spacious. Most pitches are close to the river and the others are higher up. There are both places with a lot of shade and places in the sun. Those camping without their own equipment can stay in one of 18 fully equipped rental accommodations.

Swimming with a view

The circular swimming pool with panoramic views is located on the hillside near the reception and the bar & restaurant. You can also cool off in the river that flows alongside the campsite. Just a five-minute drive from the campsite, you can take a dip in the man-made recreational lake between the mountains. Once the children have finished playing at the swimming pool and the river, they can enjoy themselves on the playground, at the table tennis table or in the recreation room with games. The campsite better suits the interests of young children than those of teenagers.

Travelling party: Seniors

What a lovely stay! Probably the best views from any campsite we've ever stayed on. Our visit was towards the end of September and it was very quiet so the young man who welcomed us, invited us to pitch our campervan anywhere we wanted. Our closest neighbours were a herd of friendly goats which wandered past the open door of our camper! Beautiful views of the countryside and the mountains. Great walks from the campsite and La Motte Chalancon is a lovely old village.

Liked - Have been coming for 14 years, it feels like our second home. Great views, great spacious pitches and very welcoming owners.
Disliked - How some other campers didn’t always clean up after themselves at the sinks and in the showers. Perhaps some notices to remind all too could be useful.

Liked - We loved it all . Excellent camping with all you need to disconnect and enjoy nature.
Disliked - Showers and bathrooms could be updated, but we wouldn't change anything grom our week. This is the second year and hipe to keep coming.

Liked - We had a wonderful stay! The owners were very kind and sweet, they even helpt us with our broken car to contact a local garage and translate.
We had a very nice private spot with great views on the mountain.
Lovely hard working people, we would definitely come back again.
And a nice swimming pool with great views! ;)

Liked - Just love coming here, missed the last two years due to Covid.
Love the pitch we are on, love the views. Whenever you need help Christine will always be there. Friendly and always welcoming,
Disliked - Not a dislike , more a request, , just would like more lights by washing up sink and toilets that work when it’s dark.
