This small-scale campsite is situated in a beautiful spot in the Drôme Valley, in the department of the same name in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The Drôme offers plenty of variety in terms of landscapes. While the western part is relatively flat, in the eastern part you'll find a low mountain range belonging to the foothills of the French Alps. Camping de Chamarges Onlycamp is located in the east, just outside the picturesque town of Die and right on the river. The campsite is surrounded by lavender fields, vast forest areas and imposing mountain peaks and massifs. It is a quiet, authentic campsite with an outdoor swimming pool and a snack bar with terrace.

Beautiful spots on the river or with a mountain view
The reception, where new campers are extended a friendly welcome, is located at the centre of the campsite. There are mainly shady camping pitches on this campsite's flat terrain, though there are also some sunny spots available. If you book a spot on the river side, you can enjoy the sound the Drôme River's running waters. And you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains from the other side of the campsite. In addition to regular camping pitches, Camping de Chamarges Onlycamp rents out a small number of accommodations, such as lodge tents and chalets.
Cool off in the pool or the river
The outdoor swimming pool is located at the front of the campsite. You can not only cool off in this rectangular pool on hot summer days, but you can also swim a few laps. From the campsite you can reach the river bank via two paths. You can enjoy wading in the waters here. It's also a good starting point for a canoe or kayak trip. Kayaks can be rented at the reception.
