The small-scale Camping de la Claysse is in the south of the Ardèche. This campsite, close to the Gorges de l’Ardèche nature reserve, is surrounded by rivers and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Moreover, a holiday at this spot offers you everything you expect from the Provence: stunning countryside with rocks, caves, lavender fields, olive trees and the relaxing atmosphere typical of Southern France.

Comfortable mobile homes and spacious touring pitches

Camping de la Claysse has something for every type of camper: 15 comfortable mobile homes, 30 spacious camping pitches by the river and a wonderful atmosphere. Mobile homes are available for four, five and six people. Campers with their own camping equipment can enjoy their holiday on spacious, shaded pitches measuring from 120 to 150 m², perfect for tents, caravans and motorhomes. In both the low as well as high season, your campsite neighbours mainly consist of a mix of French, Dutch, Belgians and Germans.

Entertainment at the campsite

The fairly large oval swimming pool provides refreshment on sun-drenched days. You can wonderfully relax under the straw parasols while enjoying the beautiful views. A meandering river with a small beach runs beside the campsite. It is also wonderful for swimming.

In the months of July and August, the entertainment team organises sporting activities and cultural excursions and there is also a programme for children from aged 4. The restaurant with patio serves dishes prepared with regional produce and is also popular among the local population, so you get a nice mix of guests.

Liked - Goede kampeerplaatsen, ruim, sommige met schaduw, wat erg lekker is met temperaturen boven de 30 graden.
Disliked - Ruimere openingstijden zwembad.

wij verblijven hier met een tent, super mooie camping, ruime plek en schoon sanitair.
Je kan hier ook heerlijk eten. Gerard is ook een hele fijne gast heer. Wij komen hier eind augustus en dan is het hier ook heerlijk rustig.

  • A7, exit 19 Bolléne. N86 to Pont St. Esprit. Then D6086 towards Bourg St. Andéol. Left after 2.5 km on D901. In Barjac continue to St. Sauveur. Don't turn off in the village, turn left a bit further by the car park.
