On the sociable, child-friendly Camping Les Arches you will find much greenery, peace, space and hospitality. It is situated against a hill in a rural part of the Ardèche. The Claduègne river flows through the campsite and divides the campsite in two. By constructing a dam in the river in summer, a beautiful natural swimming lake with waterfall is created.

Splendid views

The campsite is well maintained, playfully and spaciously designed with a diverse vegetation of trees and shrubs. A river flows through the campsite. On one side of the water is the old section with lots of greenery and privacy. The newer section offers a splendid view, but less shade and privacy due to the young vegetation. Want to rent something? The accommodation units (mainly chalets) are spread over the campsite.

Natural swimming lake

There is a heated swimming pool with a separate children's section, surrounded by sun loungers, sun umbrellas and flowers. The largest attraction of the camping is the natural swimming pool which the owners create themselves by construction a dam in the river. Next to it is a natural grass and pebble beach.

Tractor rides

The campsite has several playgrounds, soccer fields, jeu-de-boule pitches, table tennis tables and a volleyball field. In high season a lot of attention is paid to children. For instance, Patrick, the owner, offers children a ride on his tractor. There is also a crafts afternoon twice a week, and there are guided walks and communal meals.

Campsite restaurant

There is a wide choice available in the camping restaurant with covered terrace. They also have ice cream and take-away meals. There is bread service.

Acsi korting in voor- en naseizoen.
Wij hebben enkele dagen op deze prachtige camping gestaan.
De camping is heel ruim opgezet en bijna alle plaatsen zijn zeer groot (gras).
Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en geeft goede tips.
De meeste plaatsen hebben schaduw en/of een pergola.
Er zijn ook plaatsen aan het riviertje.
Op het gras bij het riviertje zijn ligbedden waar je heerlijk in de natuur kunt recreëren.
Zomers wordt er een dam gemaakt zodat er gezwommen kan worden en er een watervalletje is.
Er zijn 2 fijne zwembaden en een jacuzzi met een bar/terras.
Her en der staan mooie huisjes voor de verhuur.
Het restaurant is gezellig met wekelijks gezamenlijke BBQ-avond (of iets anders zoals bijv. Paella-avond met muziek).
Het sanitair is schoon. Dames en heren toiletten en douches zijn niet gescheiden.
De camping wordt gerund door een Frans-Nederlands echtpaar. Dit verklaard het feit dat er voornamelijk Nederlanders zijn. Af en toe zie je een ‘verdwaalde’ Franse, Duitse of Belgische kampeerder.
Er is prima Wifi tegen betaling. Wel duur (€ 17,00 voor 4 dagen).
Vlakbij ligt het prachtige dorpje Vogüé dat bekend staat als een van de allermooiste dorpjes van de Ardèche en volgens sommigen zelfs van heel Frankrijk. Er liggen gezellige restaurantjes.

Een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Hopen echt weer een keer terug te komen. Prachtige grote plaats, mooi zwembad, mooie pmgeving en heerlijk rustig. Lekker gegeten in het restaurant en personeel is zeer behulpzaam. Een dikke pluim voor eigenaar en personeel.

Weer met heel veel plezier een paar dagen hier doorgebracht.
Keurig onderhouden groen. Een lust voor het oog.
Sanitair prima schoon, keuken een aanrader?
Wij komen zeker weer terug!

Prachtige grote plaatsen en een mooi zwembad voor jong en oud. Het sanitair is basic maar wel altijd schoon. Personeel is vriendelijk en vaak Nederlands sprekend. Toen wij er waren zag je ook voornamelijk Nederlanders.

Ons verblijf op Les Arches begint half Mei tot eind Juni en van half Augustus tot einde September. Wij hebben een caravan en staan op het bovenste gedeelte van de camping. Boven is van iedere staan plaats een prachtig uitzicht op de omgeving .In het voorjaar heeft de camping de allure van park. Personeel is bijzonder behulpzaam niets is te veel. Het voelt als thuis komen

Heerlijke camping om te verblijven en je lekker op je gemak te voelen. De plaatsen zijn zeer gevarieerd en wat bijzonder prettig is, dat veel plaatsen een pergola hebben waar je uit de zo’n zit, maar toch een verkoelend windje voelt.
Camping restaurant is ruim voldoende en gevarieerd met iedere zondagavond een BBQ.
Fietsen is helaas lastiger in de omgeving, maar dat wordt weer ruimschoots goedgemaakt door een heerlijk zwembad.
Sanitair is niet hypermodern, maar alles is er en het is schoon.
Van ons een aanrader waar we zeker nog eens terugkomen.
