Camp along the Ardèche River at Le Coin Charmant Campsite in the south of the Ardeche. The name says it all: here you can fully enjoy the charm of France. This nature campsite offers an ideal location from which to visit lovely French villages and towns and the surrounding area is a dream for sporty campers.

Camping pitch or accommodation

Le Coin Charmant Campsite is a small-scale campsite in the village of Chauzon. The spacious shaded camping pitches are demarcated by shrubs and offer plenty of privacy. If you do not have your own camping equipment, you are more than welcome to stay in one of the rental accommodations. The campsite features modern sanitary facilities as well as special sanitary facilities for the little campers.

Plenty to do

Although the campsite is not large, it offers everything you need for a pleasurable stay. In the high season, the campsite is especially popular among families with young children from France, Germany and the Netherlands. Both children and adults have fun with the entertainment team that organises fun activities. The playground and the ping pong table are also nice places to meet new friends on holiday.

Endless water recreation

The on-site swimming pool complex has a separate shallow end for the little ones to splash around in safely, and there are plenty of sun loungers for soaking up the sun. And you don't have to go far to enjoy even more water recreation activities. The campsite is located directly along the Ardèche River. There is a sand and pebble beach where children can play.

Liked - Rustig gelegen camping, zeer vriendelijke mensen. Zeer netjes, een goede keuken (niet veel maar genoeg om uit te kiezen).
Disliked - Iets meer water punten.

Liked - Zeer vriendelijke mensen.
Heel propere sanitaire voorzieningen!

Een perfecte kampeerplaats, Vanaf dat onze tent opgesteld stond vielen we in een oase van rust.
Stoeltjes in het riviertje geplaatst en een boekje gelezen, goed gekookt.
Genoten van een maaltijd op het gezellige terrasje.
Jammer dat we maar 3 nachten hadden geboekt, we waren op doorreis naar Spanje. Volgende keer niet nodig, dan blijven we hangen!

Disliked - Ik kan eerlijk gezegd nog niets bedenken.
Maar om iets te zeggen: een uitgebreidere menu kaart om te eten? (De hamburger was simpel maar zeer lekker dus jullie mogen gerust wat meer aanbieden om jullie kookkunsten te delen met bezoekers!)

Liked - Alles dichtbij en verzorgd
Disliked - Nergens vuilbakken te bespeuren op de camping ,ook niet in de vrouwelijke toiletten overal zelf afval meenemen zo ook persoonlijk afval zoals vb gebruikte maandverbanden

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Ik heb zelden zon schoon en luxe chalet gehad. We hadden ruimte zon en genoeg schaduw. De camping is mooi en goed onderhouden. Het zwembad is lekker verkoelend en schoon. De kampeerplaatsen zijn zeer ruim en schaduwrijk. Het sanitair is ook schoon en goed onderhouden. Er is een klein speeltuintje wat iets afgelegen in een hoekje ligt waardoor het minder uitnodigend is . Mijn zoon minste een trampoline maar de afwezigheid maakt de camping niet minder leuk. Er zijn elke dag activiteiten maar dit gaat nooit ten koste van de nachtrust. De rivier is makkelijk toegankelijk. We hebben genoten.
Disliked - Soms was communiceren lastig. Ik spreek geen frans wel goed engels. Je merkt wel dat ze hun best doen met engels spreken. De eigenaren waren een vriendelijk jong stel.

Liked - De camping heeft een fijne sfeer, kleinschalig en voldoende voorzieningen.
Disliked - Het water in de rivier bij de camping stond te laag om te kunnen zwemmen. .

Liked - Eigenaren zijn aardig, vriendelijk en behulpzaam en runnen de camping echt om het hun gasten zo goed als mogelijk naar hun zin te maken.

De Arde hé stroomt naast de camping en dat is heerlijk.
Disliked - De weg van en naar de camping is soms een uitdaging.
