Birdwatchers can indulge in their passion in the vicinity of Camping Le Nid du Parc ; the flat area with numerous shallow lakes halfway in Eastern France is home to some 400 bird species. The landscape in this region is idyllic, indigenous and varied. An ideal spot for seekers of peace and quiet, nature explorers and outdoor sports enthusiasts. The campsite therefore attracts an international public.

Beautiful grounds

The campsite along the Chalaronne river (swimming prohibited) has a park-like design. Deciduous trees and conifers provide shade and the hedges around the spacious pitches guarantee ample privacy. If you want to rent something there is an abundance of choice: (lodge tents and tepee tents, trekker huts and Pipo mobile homes).

Municipal swimming pool

On the campsite is an outdoor swimming pool and next to the campsite is a municipal swimming pool. Some 30 km further on, there is a lovely swimming lake.

Excursion programmes

There is a plenty to do on the campsite. Enjoy yourself in the playground, on the sports field or in the facilities for bad weather (with TV and games). Next to the campsite you will find a tennis court. No inspiration at the moment? Children can join the entertainment programme and there are excursion programmes for adults. Satisfied and exhausted after your day? At night you can regularly join a (theme) dinner, barbecue or music concert.

Take-away meals

You can order daily fresh bread. At a distance of some 1.5 km, on the outskirts of the town, you will find a supermarket. The campsite has a restaurant with a small menu, where you can get snacks and take-away meals. For a more elaborate dinner you can walk to the nearby Villars-les-Dombes.

Sanitary facilities

The sanitary facilities were fully renovated in 2011 and are kept very clean.
