The peace and quiet you'll enjoy at this family campsite in the French region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is rarely disturbed. Boating, fishing, swimming and cycling are just a few of the many recreational options that this verdant, water-rich environment offers. The campsite is within walking distance of the town of Pont-de-Vaux, which is known for its beautiful surroundings and cosy atmosphere.

Park-like camping

This park-like campsite offers a relaxed atmosphere. The terrain is flat and consists of 107 spacious sun-and-shade pitches situated among the trees. Dogs are also very welcome here. Those who do not have their own camping equipment can stay in one of the rental accommodations, such as a mobile home or chalet.

Swimming pool with slides and wellness facilities

The whole family will have a great time at the modern swimming pool next to the campsite. The municipal swimming pool is accessible to everyone, but you'll enjoy free admission as a guest of Camping Le Champ d’Été Onlycamp. The slides offer plenty of thrills while the hammam and saunas ensure ultimate relaxation. The campsite has a beautifully landscaped children's playground, a multi-sport field, and a jeu-de-boules court.

Plan d'eau de Pont-de-Vaux

Plan d'eau de Pont-de-Vaux is located less than a five-minute walk from the campsite. This is a large recreational area with a lake that is popular with both tourists and locals. Here you can enjoy various activities such as swimming, fishing, canoeing and sailing.

Walking to the village

In the nearby town (1 km) you'll find everything you need, such as a bakery, supermarket, cafes and restaurants. And every Wednesday there's a nice market offering local specialities and regional products.

als doorgaan camping misschien net voldoende. maar zwembad al 18.15u dicht dus dan niet te gebruiken. vies sanitair. wel mooie plekken.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Prettige en rustige camping, aardige eigenaren die goed Engels spraken. (Geen nederlands)
Veel korte overnachtingen op de camping. Waardoor we in 10 dagen, 5 verschillende buren gehad hebben.
Zwembad is heerlijk, onbeperkt toegang en net en schoon. Heerlijk binnen en buiten bad. Sanitair van de camping is wel het één en ander op aan te merken. Tijdens piekmomenten geen warm water, waardoor we vaak koud moesten afwassen. Geen baby badje aanwezig, waardoor de baby mee onder de douche moest, maar het water was of te koud of bloedheet. Sanitairgebouw was erg verouderd en veel spinnen en spinnenwebben, ook in de deuropeningen. Hierdoor dit oogt het volledige sanitargebouw viezig...

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Leuke camping, prima plekken. Helaas werkte het water niet bij ons op de plek. Leuke speeltuin voor de kinderen. Gemeentezwembad welke naast de camping ligt (en je gebruik van mag maken) bleek ineens dicht te zijn. Dat was wel een domper.
Douches waren bloedheet, echt niet mogelijk te gebruiken. Wij hebben na dit aangegeven te hebben gebruik mogen maken van een douche in een chalet. Mevr vd receptie gaf aan dat de douche maar 2 standen heeft. Ze zei daar zelf bij dat als er weinig mensen zijn, de douche heel heet is. In de zomer met veel mensen, dan is de douche weer veel te koud…
Jammer genoeg geen brood service smorgens.

Naast de camping een leuk stukje om met de hond te lopen.

3 nachten verbleven met de camper. Parkachtige ligging aan de rand van de stad. Ruime standplaatsen. Sanitair is sterk verouderd. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Fietspad langs de Saone gemakkelijk bereikbaar.

Sen.echtpaar met buscamper. September 2022. 10 ampère. 4G+ , geen wifi. Parkachtig van opzet, zon- en schaduwplekken. Vullen met schoonwater en lozen vuilwater geen probleem. Het ledigen van het chemisch toilet ging makkelijk. Er is warmwater voor de vaat. Sanitairgebouw ziet er schoon uit. Douche met drukknop. Zonder oordoppen geslapen. Terrein is vlak met zowel schaduw als zon plekken. Op 15 min lopen in het dorp een supermarkt met ruim aanbod. Naast gelegen zwembad is voor campinggasten gratis toegankelijk. Wandel-/fietsroutes vanaf de camping. Wij stonden 2 jaar geleden ook op deze camping.

Mooie rustige camping met goede sanitaire voorzieningen. Min puntje was de slechte wifi. De camping ligt op loopafstand van het stadje en de daarbij behordende winkels. Tevens is de camping gelegen in een mooie groene en waterrijke omgeving, heerlijk om te wandelen en/of te sporten.

We komen hier jaarlijks terug op onze reis naar het zuiden. Hartelijke mensen die de camping runnen met hart en ziel.
Leuke fietstochten naar de mooie stadjes Macon en Tournus langs een zalig fietspad aan de oevers van de Saone.

Sen.echtpaar met buscamper. Periode 29-08-2020 / 06-09-2020. Parkachtige camping. 10 ampère. Vullen van schoonwater, met eigen slang, geen probleem. Lozen vuilwater alsmede het ledigen van het chemisch toilet, op een centraal punt op de camping, ging makkelijk. Er is warmwater voor de vaat. Sanitairgebouw ziet er schoon uit. Douche met drukknop. Zonder oordoppen geslapen. Terrein is vlak met zowel schaduw als zon plekken. Tijdens ons verblijf waren er ook campers van rond de 8 à 9 meter. Broodservice. Kleine winkel op de camping alsmede een supermarkt (met ruim aanbod) in het dorp op 15 minuten wandelen. Genoeg gelegenheid voor wandelen, ook in de heuvels aan de andere kant van de Saône/A.6. Bij de receptie zijn fiets- en enkele wandelroutes te leen. Voor de kleintjes is er een speeltuintje. Zwembad naast de camping (dagelijks open in het hoog seizoen en gratis toegankelijk voor campinggasten) alsmede een visvijver.
