Camping de L’Hérein is situated slightly east of the village of Visan. You camp here virtually on the border of two departments: the Vaucluse and the Drôme. In both departments you will find a large number of lavender fields, vineyards, attractive villages and regional markets. All in all, a veritable holiday region!

Camping with ample shade
The camping pitches, varying in size (150-400 m2) and shape, are located on a flat, compacted grass surface. The large number of trees and hedges provide a fair amount of shade and privacy on most pitches. Don't have camping equipment? If so, book one of the five mobile homes (suitable for a maximum of eight persons).
Attractive swimming pool and a peaceful river
Centrally situated on the campsite is a modest, but attractive swimming pool (65 m2). Adjacent to this pool is a toddler pool with a wall fountain. The pools are surrounded by a terrace with a few sun umbrellas and loungers. The shallow river which calmly skirts the campsite, is yet another source of water fun. Children can thoroughly enjoy themselves here. Fishing in the river is also allowed.
Entertainment for the whole family
As one can expect from a real family campsite, there is something to do for each and everyone. Young children can take part in the entertainment or amuse themselves in the large playground (with bouncer, swings, chicken see-saw and sandpit). There is a diverse and challenging programme for teenagers and adults. For instance, dance workshops, sports tournaments (including water polo and belly flying), shows and disco evenings. Furthermore, there is a 25 m long zip-line.
Restaurant and market
The campsite restaurant, with shaded terrace, features an extensive menu. Fresh bread is available from the campsite shop. In high season, a campsite market is organised on Thursday evenings. Here you can buy the most delicious cheeses, cold meats, honey, olive oil and fruits.
