When you're camping at campsite Des Sources, you're only a ten minute walk from Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages in France. This small-scale campsite is located in the heart of Provence and overlooks the surrounding Luberon mountains from a mountain top. You camp among the old oaks, on terraces against the mountainside.

The charm of camping in Provence

On the campsite you see more rental accommodations than touring pitches (55 at 45), but as a touring camper you might be a little better off. The chalets are a bit outdated and the charm of camping in Provence is best achieved when you set up your tent between the bushes on the edge of the slope, looking out over the mountainous landscape.

Panoramic view from the pool

You have one of the most beautiful views of the Luberon when you take a dip in the pool. A great panoramic view of the mountains on one side, the attractive restaurant. Sitting on the edge of the spacious pool, you really know what it feels like to have a holiday in Provence. Around the pool there are plenty of sun loungers.

Live music in the restaurant

The restaurant is the centre of conviviality and entertainment in high season. This attractive stone building has a covered pavement café at the edge of the pool. The summer evenings here are musically accompanied by live performances, games and special shows for children. In a friendly and small-scale atmosphere.

Liked - Perfect situated in The middle of The Vaucluse, with lots of places to go within halfhour drive. Some pitches are big , some large, but enough privacy . Quite difficult access if you have a caravan ( short curves, steep hills to manoeuvre). Outstanding facilities ( pool , sanitary etc) and very helpful and friendly staff

Liked - First class campsite, exceptional facilities, friendly and efficient staff. Loved the fresh croissants every morning, the pool, the campsite itself all beautifully terraced. We love the region, bringing our 2 road bikes and cycling the regions stunning countryside not to mention all the hills! All breathtaking and love all the hill top villages.
