Camping de la Durance is situated at the foot of the Luberon, directly on the Durance. This river forms the natural border between the departments of Vaucluse and Bouches-du-Rhône. This quiet campsite in the heart of Provence is particularly suitable as a stopover for campers travelling to more southerly destinations.

Camping in the green
The elongated avenue with plane trees takes you to the spacious pitches. These are beautifully landscaped in the green surroundings and are separated by hedges. You will see a lot of motorhomes there. There are also pitches especially for tents. These, too, are tastefully situated in the greenery. In addition, you have a choice of around twenty rental accommodations.
Transit campsite
Camping de la Durance is mainly visited by campers in transit to more southerly destinations such as the Côte d'Azur or Corsica. Because of its location, not far from the coast and almost along the Route du Soleil, the campsite is ideal for a stopover of a few nights. But this transit campsite is also perfectly suited as a base from which to explore Provence more extensively.
Municipal swimming pool
There is no swimming pool on the campsite itself, but as a camping guest you can take a dip in the adjoining swimming pool, located on the municipal sports grounds. Here you can also hit a ball on one of the tennis courts.
Facilities
In its facilities, the campsite really characterises itself as a transit campsite. The sanitary facilities are excellent: the toilet block has recently been renovated. But there is no restaurant or shop on the campsite. Not bad, because just outside Cavaillon there are several supermarkets.
