In the area of the gorgeous Côte d’Azur and the famous beach resort of Cannes you will find the well-run campsite Les Philippons. Sophisticated coastal resorts as Saint-Tropez, Antibes and Nice are easy to reach from here. After a day at the beach it is great to spend some time on the campsite, for instance at the nicely designed swimming pool or in the attractive restaurant next to it.

Diverse camping

The wooded terrain with numerous large oaks and century-old olive trees has a natural layout and is located on various elevations. From the higher pitches you have a splendid view of the Esterel Mountains, whereas on the lower pitches it feels like you are camping in beach-like surroundings. The pitches are demarcated in a natural manner and generally sufficiently spacious. The rental accommodation is made up of bungalow tents, holiday bungalows and a villa.

Swimming pool, lake and sea

Although the swimming pool is not very large, it is beautifully shaped and has decorative tiles, plants, loungers and sun umbrellas around it. There is a separate toddler pool and a female supervisor keeps a friendly eye on things. Looking for a larger pool? The idyllic Lac de St.-Cassien is located at a distance of 10 km. Rather head for the Mediterranean Sea? Cannes is 18 km away from the campsite. Théoule-sur-Mer is even closer (thirteen km).

Summer swimming festivals

On the campsite grounds children can enjoy themselves in the swimming pool, at the table tennis table, the table soccer game and the pétanque court. There is a playground for the little ones. Pool parties are held on Wednesday evenings, complete with music and mood lighting and are an unforgettable experience for young and old.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - A lovely site, set among old olive trees. Pitches are terraced and level, toilets are spotless. The guys at reception were always helpful. The swimming pool is well looked after. The food in the restaurant is good, though wine is either very expensive or poor quality
Disliked - It's a shame that there is no shop, and no toilet paper.
