Nature campsite L’Avelanède is situated in the south of the Verdon, a region which is characterised by lakes and forests. The natural campsite, measuring some 30 acres, has a limited number of camping pitches. The camping grounds are divided into 5 sections, each with its own character.

Charming squares
The reception is housed in the same fetching building as the bar and restaurant. The site has a typical Provençal appearance with lively squares and covered terraces. The fountain, low walls and arches of rough stone complete the setting. The camping grounds are rugged and natural with spacious pitches between trees.
Rugged and natural
There are only fifty touring pitches and thirty permanent camping pitches. Are you an adventurous camper, or do you cherish your privacy? If so, you can choose a great spot in a slightly more isolated location on the camping grounds. However, you will also find pitches near the swimming pool or at the edge of the forest.
Family campsite
You will come across many families with children at L’Avelanède. In high season the campsite is mainly frequented by Dutch guests. In low season there are more international visitors. Especially families with young children can spend a wonderful, quiet holiday here. There is no entertainment, hence the camping is less suitable for teenagers looking to be entertained.
Fun in the water
There are two sanitary buildings on the camping grounds. One building is slightly older, but the other one is entirely new (2018). The sanitary facilities, like all other facilities, are beautifully maintained and pristine. Adjacent to the restaurant and the bar lies a beautiful, heated outdoor swimming pool surrounded with loungers. There is also a separate heated toddler pool.
