Would you like to visit Verdon Gorge and you are looking for a campsite nearby? Then a stay at Camping L'Aigle in Aiguines, in an authentic village in the Provence is recommended. Here, you camp at a short distance from various lovely viewpoints over the gorge. Furthermore, the campsite is in the middle of walking and climbing routes, many of which go along and through the river canyon. You can relax and unwind at the campsite after a lovely day of walking. It's highly enjoyable in the communal hot tub or in the restaurant, which has a patio offering stunning views of the Lake of Sainte-Croix. That is the lake the Verdon Gorge ends.

Lovely terraces with spacious camping pitches

You have lovely views of the surrounding area and of course of the Lake of Sainte-Croix from many of the pitches. Furthermore, many of the pitches have a reasonable amount of shade and privacy. As well as on a spacious pitch, you can spend the night in a modern mobile home, chalet, lodge tent or camping pod at the campsite. These accommodation have recently been erected.

Relax in the hot tub

There is a communal hot tub at the front of the site. Another place to optimally unwind is the restaurant, including a lovely bar and superb patio. This patio may offer the best views from the entire campsite. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy a tasty Provencal meal or simply have a delicious drink.

Liked - The staff were absolutely amazing, so helpful and friendly. The campsite is beautiful with idyllic views of the Saint Croix lake and the surrounding hills. We had a lot of fun during our daily activities and exploring the area and the sunsets were simply magical! Also - decent burgers!
Disliked - Toilets and showers were always available, however, the high-tec toilets were sometimes tempermental and it would have been lovely to have a cold shower option for the hot weather and hotter water for washing up.

Liked - Nice quiet place, near the town centre, beautiful sunsets and view on the lake, kind staff.
Disliked - Not every shower was working fine. Some guest left some stuff/rubbish around (just a few things), we suggest the staff to check better.
