Close to the French-Italian border, in a beautiful valley of the river Clarée, you’ll find Huttopia La Clarée campsite. Here you camp in a wooded area surrounded by the Alps. The pitches are situated in the heart of the countryside and the rental accommodation on the campsite is luxurious. The campsite is suitable for families, but above all for the more active and nature-loving.

Camping by the river

The campsite is located in a protected natural area in the valley of the river Clarée, the namegiver of the campsite. It is beautiful here: tall trees fill the terrain, which is surrounded by the peaks of the Alps. During the renovation of the campsite, many luxury lodge tents have been set up. Still there are mainly touring pitches to be found. They are located in the countryside, in the woods or on the banks of the river.

Sunny swimming pool

The swimming pool is situated in a sunny spot, almost against the cliff. Here you can take a dip while looking out over the mountain tops. The pool is not very big, but the sundeck around is all the more spacious. Next to the pool is a paddling pool. The pool is fenced by wooden poles. Fancy a drink? Then, just outside the fence, you can take a seat on the pavement café or at the bar.

Visit to Briançon

Apart from the bar and a campsite shop with a small assortment, the campsite does not have a catering service. For your groceries it is best to drive to Briançon where there are several supermarkets. If you're in Briançon, pay a visit to the fortress.

Travelling party: Seniors

Sen.echtpaar met buscamper. Eind aug/begin sep 2022. 10 ampère. 4G+ . Vullen met schoonwater en lozen vuilwater geen probleem. Het ledigen van het chemisch toilet ging makkelijk. Er is warmwater voor de vaat. Sanitairgebouw ziet er schoon uit, doch beginnend achterstallig onderhoud. Douche met drukknop, warm/koud instelbaar. Zonder oordoppen geslapen. Terrein vlak met zowel zon als schaduw plekken. Op camping kleine winkel. Diverse wandelroutes vanaf de camping. In elke ‘tente trappeur’ staat een houtkachel.
