Camping Mas de Nicolas is situated against a hill in Provence, on the outskirts of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Here, campers can fully relax in the outdoor pool and wellness centre. A few touring pitches on the park-like, sloping terrain look out onto Saint-Rémy.

Camping Mas de Nicolas is located on the northern outskirts of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, an old town in Provence. You're not far from the Mediterranean Sea; in just over an hour you'll be in the coastal town of Marseille, for example.

Swimming pool and wellness

Those looking for peace and quiet will find this campsite an excellent destination. Most pitches are demarcated by high hedges, giving you a lot of privacy. You can also relax by the swimming pool. On the lawns there are several sun loungers. For the little ones there is a paddling pool. At the edge of the pool is the wellness building. Here you’ll find a whirlpool, sauna and steam bath, but you can also live it up on one of the fitness equipment.

Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and Avignon

In the attractive old streets of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence you will find several restaurants. Be sure to visit the Wednesday market here. On Wednesday mornings, the market square, but also the narrow streets, are filled with market stalls, music and conviviality. From the campsite you can visit other beautiful places: Arles and Les Baux-de-Provence for example. But Avignon can also be reached within three quarters of an hour. Avignon is known as the Provencal Popes' city, as the city was the residence of the popes in the fourteenth century. The Palais des Papes, the enormous papal residence, still bears witness to this.

Travelling party: Couple

found this gem purely by chance arrived at another site we intended to visit but got there to find it full so they gave me 3 more sites rang this and the lady said they had a couple of pitches but we’re just closing so she waited for us to arrive and we’re so glad this is a brilliant place for you and dogs if you take them there is a canal at the back of site to walk also a woods and a plateau at the top ideal for walking saint remy is a lovely area I also have to give a special mention to monic what a fantastic person full of knowledge and very helpful we need a doctor so she pointed us in the right direction and they sorted diannes eyes thankfully there’s fresh bread on site a shop with the basics and a bar swimming pool is great overall this is a 10/10 site ended up staying for 13nights instead of 4 thanks guys also market days is a great day out too

Liked - The park atmosphere and our fellow clients
Disliked - More attention is needed to trees, many have dying branches which are a potential falling hazard and one tree on the main green is dead ,and has been for years it should be replaced to maintain appearance.Sauna removed hope it comes back steam room usually switched off !

Receptionist very helpful
Disliked - Dustbins along way away and not neatly arranged so access to Motorhome waste was not easy
Old on site water and drainage was not working would be huge benefit if this was working again

Liked - I loved this site, it had a lovely friendly holiday vibe about it. The staff are the biggest asset, really helpful and super friendly. The pool area is lovely, showers are great, toilets are French!! The pitches are a little tight if you have a big van but the plus is that the pitch we had was fully serviced even though it wasn’t sold as that. This is a big plus as we always try for FS. Great location, 10 mins walk into town. Would certainly recommend this site.
