Camping Pegomas, situated in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône, offers an authentic Provençal experience. This family friendly campsite is at walking distance from the historic centre of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, ideal for culture lovers and nature enthusiasts. The area is perfect for walking and cycling trips, with the Alpilles mountain range (9 km) nearby.

Well-maintained pitches and accommodation

The campsite offers just under 100 well-maintained camping pitches, demarcated and accessible via unpaved paths. For a more comfortable stay, there are 12 modern mobile homes and two vintage caravans available.

Dogs are welcome

Camping Pegomas is extremely dog friendly, with amenities, such as a dog shower. Dogs are even welcome for free outside July and August.

Sunny outdoor swimming pool with playground and bar

One of the highlights is the sunny swimming pool, complete with a colourful water playground. Sun loungers, parasols and a sunscreen are available around the swimming pool.

The campsite has a lovely pool bar, where you can enjoy drinks and snacks. There is a mini library and a games cupboard as well as a food truck and breakfast service in the high season. There are supermarkets and shops within a kilometre of the campsite.

Well-maintained toilet and washing facilities

There are three well-maintained toilet blocks on the site, with amenities such as hand basin cubicles, showers, hairdryers, washing machines, a dryer and a baby bathroom. Two of these buildings are heated outside the high season.

Saint-Rémy within walking distance

Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, within a short walking distance, is a charming town with Roman ruins, churches, museums, galleries and city gardens. The town is known for its weekly Provençal market. Other nearby attractions are Les Baux-de-Provence, Maussane-les-Alpilles, Arles, Avignon and the famous Pont du Gard, all within a 30-to-45-minute drive from the campsite.
