Camping Neptune, situated in the village of Saint-Mitre-les-Remparts, lies on a sloping terrain on the elongated lake l’Etang de Berre. The medieval village is located in the Bouche du Rhone (the Provence), only a few dozen kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea. Neptune is a rather small, mainly French family campsite. Friendliness, sun and water are key words here.

French conviviality
Driving from the reception to your pitch, you can already enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. Neptune is a rather small campsite, where it is lovely and peaceful in low season. In peak season it is bustling with lots of French camping guests.
Enjoy the sun (and shade)
Reasonably level and spacious pitches have been laid out on the sloping grounds. Some pitches have more shade than others. The bushes between the pitches provide ample privacy. You will meet many families with children of all ages who come here primarily to enjoy the water and sun.
Bread and (water) games
There is a shop on the campsite for some basic foodstuffs, such as fresh bread. The rest of your shopping can be done in several places within a few kilometres. In addition, the campsite has a modest snack bar, where you can sit outside in peak season. From there, you have a lovely view of the water. Children enjoy themselves with the playground equipment or go to the pool, complete with lawn and a separate toddler pool. To get to the lake, you only have to cross the road. The lake offers ample opportunities for various types of water sports.
