Camping in nature
The mighty Alps watch over the campsite River. You will find forty touring pitches here, located in the wilderness. Due to the sloping, natural character of the terrain, not all pitches are suitable for caravans. These pitches are all the more beautiful for tent campers. Tall pine trees provide shade for most of the touring pitches. In addition, some furnished mobile homes and simple and luxurious lodge tents can be booked. For a 'vintage' camping holiday, the retro caravan is a nice accommodation.
For sporty campers
Although in the Ubaye valley, between the high peaks of the Alps, you'll find a peaceful piece of nature, it's mainly the sporty campers who see camping River as a great holiday destination. The mountainous nature is the domain of fanatical hikers and cyclists, who like to climb the challenging Alpine cliffs. The fast-flowing Ubaye attracts water sports enthusiasts, who try to conquer the river by kayak or raft.
Fresh croissants on the river
A homemade pizza, a local wine or a fresh croissant? In the attractive main building of the campsite you'll find the restaurant, where they serve various Provencal dishes. The terrace, situated directly on the banks of the river, is a lovely place to eat your breakfast. The restaurant has an informal atmosphere.
