Far away from the hustle and bustle of the Côte d’Azur, Olbia is a small, terraced campsite in a nature paradise. You will find this campsite on the extreme western tip of the peninsula Presqu’île de Giens, where it fits in beautifully with the nature of the southern part of the peninsula. The campsite only has camping pitches and no rental accommodations. All pitches are shaded. You will be welcomed by a small, pleasant and efficient team.
Century-old trees
The well-tended and functionally laid out campsite is situated in the Parc des Chevaliers, a unique protected pine forest. The coastal road between La Tour Fondue and La Madraque is a largely pristine and protected nature area. The campsite is ideally situated near the sea and in the forest. The demarcated pitches on the sloping grounds are well or only partly shaded by century-old pine and eucalyptus trees.
Excellent food
The camping shop stocks the most essential grocery items and fresh bread is available each day. The cosy pizzeria and the restaurant with terrace serve great dishes according to the guests. You can also order take-away meals and snacks from here.
Water sports aplenty
You will find a lovely sandy beach and rocky coast within walking distance. There are more beaches in the area. The beach of Alamanarre is frequented by wind and kite surfers. Canoes, kayaks and motor boats can be rented from the campsite. There is a diving school at the marina of Madraque. You will be taken to a diving spot with underwater shipwrecks and coral with unique types of fish.
