The Huttopia Oléron Les Pins campsite is located not far from the beach on the Atlantic coast, in a large pine forest on Ile d'Oléron. Here you can camp in the shade of tall pine trees, on one of the spacious pitches or stay in a lodge tent. Take a dip in the outdoor pools with the children, discover Saint-Trojan-les-Bains from the tourist train or cycle through an area where salt extraction and oyster and mussel farming dominate the scene.

Camping under the pines
The pine forest is beautiful: it gives the campsite colour and provides many sheltered spots. All the more than one hundred and fifty touring pitches, large and small, are therefore in the shade. The disadvantage, however, is that there is little grass. The ground is sandy, becoming muddy quickly after rainfall. Nevertheless, the campsite is well looked after.
Swimming pools and beach volleyball
The main attraction on the campsite are the swimming pools. These two outdoor pools are centrally located on the campsite, surrounded by a wooden sun deck and enclosed by wooden poles. The pools are beautifully situated between the trees in an open spot in the sun. Next to the swimming pools, a beach volleyball court has been laid out, which gives a summery beach atmosphere. By the way, the beach is only a few kilometres from the campsite. On the coast you can pick mussels especially well.
Gypsy caravan as food truck
Pizzas, wines and meat plates are served on the campsite from a wooden gypsy caravan. You can eat at one of the picnic tables on the pavement café. Apart from fresh bread rolls in the morning and a few groceries, you can't get much more on the campsite. The best place to go for a supermarket is Saint-Trojan-les-Bains.
