The busy campground Val de Boutonne is within walking distance from the town of St. Jean d'Angély. The campground is well maintained and is in a quiet environment in a lovely park by a river and very near a recreation lake. The campsites are between 80 and 100 m2 and are lined up on streets in the shade of deciduous trees. You have the choice of separate or open sites. There are many passers-through who sometimes stay longer than planned because of the beautiful location.

Swimming and shopping
There is a small swimming pool (12 by 7 metres) and a kiddie pool where the guests can sun themselves on the lawn. The lifeguard monitors safety and makes sure that the French hygiene rules are followed. The most popular groceries are available on the campsite. You can order bread for the following morning.
Sporty
The managers rent bikes, mountain bikes, canoes, kayaks, water bikes and row boats. So you can enjoy the lake and the surrounding area. The campsite is located on a cycling route. The lake is popular for anglers and canoers. We recommend having a drink at the restaurant on the lake to watch the sun go down. There are regular fireworks shows and wine tastings.
Beautiful starting point
