At the tip of the Ile de Ré, behind the dunes and close to the beautiful sandy beach of La Conche, lies Camping La Plage. From this friendly, popular campsite you have a beautiful view of the Le Phare des Baleines lighthouse. Holiday makers like to come here throughout the year because of the mild climate and the large number of sun hours.

You are camping on a level pitch with grass surface and some shade. They are separated from each other here and there by low shrubs. On the campsite there are some ninety mobile homes and furnished tents without sanitary facilities for rent. These are generally separated from the touring pitches.
A campsite for all
The campsite is popular with young families. They like to come here for the swimming pool, the beach, the playground and the children's club. The entertainment programme, which includes an entertainment programme for children and disco evenings, contributes towards the popularity of Camping La Plage.
Night swimming
The heated swimming pool (120 m2) under palm trees has a toddler pool with a slide. In summer you can go for a 'night swim', when the fairy-like illumination adds to the atmosphere. The campsite shop has a limited range. However, fresh bread is available daily. The terrace of the cosy bar overlooks the swimming pool.
Waves
A one hundred metre walk along a paved patch leads you to the beautiful sandy beach of La Conche. Windsurfers, sailing enthusiasts and waterskiers live it up on the sea and with wind and waves. You can also take lessons from the sailing and jet-ski school.
