Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Prachtige groene camping met zeer grote, verzorgde kampeerplekken. Schoon en goed sanitair. Rust. Cyril, de eigenaar, is bijzonder vriendelijk en straalt het ideale vakantiegevoel uit, net als iedereen die met hem samenwerkt. Vanaf je aankomst voel je je op je gemak en stap je vanzelf mee in dat relaxte vakantiegevoel. Dit is een camping voor rustzoekers. Er waren ook heel wat kinderen aanwezig, die elkaar vonden in de speelplekjes met zand, schommels e.d. en zich konden uitleven op het enorme grasveld midden op de camping. Voor ons was dit de ideale uitvalsbasis voor de kust.

Heerlijk rustige park camping, zeer vriendelijke eigenaars. Op fietsafstand van de kust. Komen zeker terug naar hier.

Wat een verademing, deze camping! Na een hobbelige tocht tussen akkers door kom je ineens in een parkachtige oase. wel goed opletten want je zou de ingang van de camping zomaar voorbij kunnen rijden. Du Grand Pré is een kleinschalige eenvoudige camping met zeer riante plekken (300 - 400 m2). Super vriendelijke eigenaar. Echt een camping voor natuur liefhebbers en rustzoekers. Zelfs het nabijgelegen sport vliegveld en de regelmatige knallen om vogels te verjagen zijn totaal niet hinderlijk, zeker niet als je overdag er op uit trekt. super relaxte camping op fiets afstand van Royan en winkels (bakker, versmarkt, slager en visboer) We komen hier zeker nog eens terug. geen sportfaciliteiten, speeltoestellen en restaurant op de camping. Vandaar geen sterren voor die onderdelen. Sanitair is gedateerd maar super schoon.

Ons verblijf op deze camping was prachtig. Cyril is een aardige campingbeheerder die altijd voor je klaar staat. De plekken voor je tent of caravan zijn erg groot en groen.

Zeer behulpzame en vriendelijke eigenaars die elke ochtend een rondje van de camping doen. Ruime plaatsen met schaduw van oude bomen. Groot gras speelveld. Eenvoudig en schoon sanitair. Rustige natuurcamping nabij de marais. Stranden van Royan met de fiets bereikbaar (7km) voor lichte sportievelingen of ebike. Ga ook eens met de wagen naar de stranden boven de côte Sauvage, het water is er zuiverder en de golven groter.
Bakker, slager, groente en vis op 3km (heuvelachtig).
