The charming campsite Seasonova Ile de Ré is located in the north of the French island Ile de Ré. The campsite offers all conveniences for a lovely camping holiday: well-tended sanitation, a shop and Wi-Fi. You are camping here at the edge of the village of Les Portes-en-Ré, only a few hundred metres from the beach, the sea and the nature reserve Lilleau des Niges.

Camping and renting

There are 130 campsites and ten rental accommodations on a property of 2.5 hectares. Renters have the choice of Ecolodges and Bungalodges, a combination of a bungalow and a lodge tent. Campers have lovely sites, demarcated with trees and bushes. The sanitary facilities are well-tended and only accessible with a code.

Entertainment and Catering

For kids up to 12 years, there is a modest entertainment programme in the high season. The campsite also organises excursions to the nearby nature reserve Lilleau des Niges. The owners also provide yoga, meditation and massages. You can take relaxing classes on the beach.

You can get your bread in the small shop on the campsite. For the rest of your shopping, you can go to the Carrefour, within walking distance. In July and August there is a lovely market in Les Portes-en-Ré nearly every morning. Don't feel like cooking? In the high season, a food truck comes to the campsite regularly.

Fun in the water

With the sea so nearby, it's not strange that water sports are really popular and a top experience. Two hundred metres from the campsite there is a surfing school. Not a fan of the sea? There are plans to build a swimming pool in 2020.

Liked - We loved our glamping experience and enjoyed the breakfast that was included -served in basket and included fresh bread and a choice of pastries, provided by friendly staff.

Liked - The quiet camping park. The beautiful area and the village. The lady in reception was very helpful
Disliked - To have only one drinking water tap for all the pitches was terrible. Also, access to the only one motorhome service point was very difficult, particularly with a large unit.
The swimming pool sunbeds were packed away during our stay leaving only 5 beds available for use. This was not enough on the days we went in the afternoons

Liked - Friendly and helpful receptionist, good sized pitches, clean facilities. Nice location, close to beaches and marshes for birdwatching. Great cycle routes, although we didn't use them because of bad weather. The village was lovely too.
Disliked - The press button showers didn't last long, but they were warm so it's a small complaint.

peaceful with clean facilities.
Yes, bit of view of mens backs at urinals,so look sideways for 2/3 steps.
Pleased to find pool still heated in Sept so thankyou.
Disliked - Remove/clear vegetation totally obscuring your entrance sign.( Are we there.??..is this it..??.)
Arriving late, the signage from road was small &we missed the little finger post. Could be bigger and brighter....its a pain turning round when you miss it.
Dont expect pool to be as big as it looks in that v flattering photo! .However clean,warm with good childrens bit so thumbs up.

Liked - We had a very quiet peaceful spot at the end of the island, hence, no traffic at the end of the road! The site was tidy and amenities good. Within easy walking distance of a beautiful beach and ‘centre ville’. Porte en Re has a supermarket with everything you’d need when in a ‘camping car’. We didn’t use any eateries as we were self catering but the restaurants appeared popular. The cycling network is brilliant AND it’s flat! You don’t need to use a car until you leave if you take your own bikes. There are also lots of bike hire centres dotted across the island.
Disliked - We went mid September, after the peak. The toilets were short of paper when required! And a couple of times the toilets weren’t fully clean.Take your own soap and towels for handwashing. Not really any downside otherwise.

Liked - Not very much to like about this place except that it was quiet.
Disliked - The whole site needs to be tidied up - the whole area was littered with dried leaves and the chalets looked ancient. Unfortunately, the appearance of the site was very disappointing

Liked - I loved the is place it was so relaxing. Close to some amazing beaches that are good for surfing. I really want to come back here and just unwind again.
Disliked - Some of the on site facilities where closed and we have to wait for I book on to the site .but a minor set back if any
