Camping La Brande is situated on the southern coast of Ile d'Oléron, the second largest island in France after Corsica. This part of the island is known for oyster and mussel farming, fishing industry as well as viticulture. The campsite clearly caters to families with children. There is an entertainment program for all ages. There is also a nice restaurant on the campsite, where mussels are the speciality. A piece of meat or fish can be grilled on one of the communal barbecues.

Camping amidst green
The 115 camping pitches on the campsite are surrounded by greenery. You will find no less than fifty different types of trees and shrubs here. The pitches vary in size. You can also choose between shady and sunnier pitches.
Don't have your own camping equipment? No problem; you can choose from many different types of rental accommodation, varying in size and level of luxury. You can also rent a beautiful safari tent.
Slide and splash
There is a (heated) swimming pool measuring some 180 m2. The pool is covered with a sliding roof. There is also a fun slide. A paddling pool is available for the youngest campers. You can also indulge in the sauna or whirlpool. If you think the swimming pool is too small for your taste, the sea is less than five hundred metres away from the campsite.
Entertainment for the whole family
Small children can enjoy themselves at the mini club, but older children and adults will not have to feel bored for one minute. They can play a game of tennis, table tennis, jeu de boules, mini golf or throw a few strikes at the bowling alley. A particularly original activity is an excursion with a tractor to the oyster beds.
