You will find Camping l'Océan et Spa in the very heart of the island of Ile de Ré, near the charming fishing village of La Couarde-sur-Mer. This luxury campsite lies between the sea and the salt marshes that have made the island famous. The paradise island of Ile de Ré, just off La Rochelle, is one of the busiest holiday destinations in the Charente-Maritime. The campsite is centrally located; just fifty metres from the sea and five minutes from the centre of La Couarde-sur-Mer.

More than enough choice

Camping l'Océan et Spa offers a variety of camping options. For example, there are pitches in four different grades; standard, comfort, comfort plus and privilege. They are all large, green plots bounded by hedges. The comfort, comfort plus and privilege pitches are also equipped with a water tap and electricity. In addition, you can choose a fully equipped mobile home or a lodge.

Water fun galore

The most popular feature of this luxury campsite is without doubt the water park. Here you will find two large, heated pools and a heated paddling pool. In addition, l'Océan et Spa campsite has a spa and wellness centre including a hammam, sauna, whirlpool bath and hydro-massage bath. For even more water fun, you can, of course, seek out the sea. The campsite is only fifty meters from the beach.

Daily fresh oysters

Camping l'Océan et Spa has a large bar-restaurant with an extensive menu. There is also a supermarket for all your daily needs. If you prefer to go 'out' for a bite La Couarde-sur-Mer is the place to be. The seafood restaurants near the harbour are proud to serve the local speciality: daily fresh oysters!

After the toll bridge take the 'itineraire nord' (D735) direction St. Martin and then the Ars-en-Ré. Located on the D735 between La Couarde and Ars. Well signposted.
