Travelling party: Seniors

Stayed for two nights to use as a base to see La Rochelle, numbered pitches overlooking farmland, friendly helpful staff, and I liked the food wagons that arrived each evening. A down side is no grey water disposal point for our caravan, suggested I tip it down the shower.

Travelling party: Young couple

Very warm welcoming. Nice atmosphere. Good location to visit the surroundings and a lot of things to see (La Rochelle, marais poitevin, ile de ré, Rochefort, chatelaillon, ile d'Aix). Nice green cycle path 500m away from the campsite to go to La Rochelle. A food truck every night. We felt great at this campsite.

Travelling party: Seniors

We really enjoyed our stay at Camping Le Verger and would certainly return again :
- great location : within cycling distance of the main port of La Rochelle
- little shop where you can buy groceries, some camping supplies and order your bread and croissants
- facilities : the best we have used since camping in France : not claustrophobic, kept clean, with toilet paper and....toilet seats
- staff : friendly, helpful in advising us of his favourite places to go,
