Camping Le Colombier is near the village of Saint-Martin-Lars-en-Sainte-Hermine, in the south of the department of Vendée. This naturist campsite is located on a wonderful quiet location next to a large woods. Space and freedom are the main focus at this well-kept campsite, with several buildings constructed in the style of the local country houses providing an extra ambiance.

Enjoy camping on a roomy pitch

If you want plenty of space around your pitch while on holiday, a stay at a pitch at Camping Le Colombier is definitely recommended. The average size of a pitch here is at least 198 square metres. What’s more, this site is very spacious. You can also book an overnight stay in a large lodge tent or in a mobile home. The accommodations, like the pitches, are distributed over several secluded meadows.

From the swimming pool and wellness facilities to an extensive entertainment programme

This is a holiday address where those seeking peace and quiet are completely at home, but those who love comfort and entertainment have plenty to do as well. Camping Le Colombier has an outdoor swimming pool that is heated. There is even more relaxation in the form of an outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and massage and reiki treatments. The campsite has a shop and a charming restaurant with a bar as well.

During the summer holiday, there is a full entertainment programme for the children. Which kind of activities are organised? Well, think of colouring contests, crafts hours, ghost tours and swimming exercises. For adult campsite guests, the jeu-de-boule tournaments and the music evenings are fun.

Liked - It's rustic, sprawling and friendly. Great swimming pool and a lovely adjacent farmhouse for evening drinks and something to eat.
Disliked - 1) Since a reasonable supermarket is a 20 minute drive stock the shop properly.
2) Put back seating in the bar when it's cold outside.
3) More bar staff required during peak periods
4) Electric power distribution to pitches needs reviewing

Liked - Welll laid out csmpsite, wirh plenty of space between pitches. Friendliness of the other guests.
Disliked - Better evening entertainment would be nice. In previous years there was a live band.
Need more bar staff duringv the evening. There can often be quite a queue.

Liked - We had a lovely time at Le Colombier. Megan at reception gives a friendly and smiley welcome and Ludo and team do all they can to give everyone a super stay.

Liked - A nice campsite with level pitches. Facilities are reasonable, pool, bar, restaurant and very well priced. Toilet facilities are good, Nice shower blocks, well kept.
Disliked - Access to the spa without additional charge, similar to Heliomonde, but I recognise this is a campsite, not a club.

Liked - What a peaceful, serene place in the countryside. Friendly welcome, lovely pool and bar, with a fantastic pétanque court. Great walks in the surrounding woods as well.
Disliked - More hard or stabilised standings for campervans/motorhomes would be good

Liked - First impressions was pitches were overgrown with grass and weeds. Grass and weeds not cut around our area during our 3 week stay.
Several discrepancies between inventory and items in chalet. ie 1 sunbed missing and parasol not supplied any more.
Disliked - No change of bedding sheets during our 3 week stay unless paid extra. Surely costed into weekly rental rates.
Did not book for entertainment. Feel this is now priortised over general upkeep of site

Liked - Great to have wi fi included in the price this year and to have the option of social evenings. We had our requested mobile home which was clean and the tapas snacks were delicious.
Disliked - There were no loungers on our arrival and when we did get them they do not have an adjustable backrest so are most uncomfortable. Less flies.
