The Côté Plage campsite is located just outside the tourist resort of Saint-Jean-de-Monts, which is on the French west coast. Saint-Jean-de-Monts has a beautiful sandy beach eight kilometers long. At Côte Plage, you can camp just two hundred metres from the beach! There's also lots to do at the campsite itself with its large swimming pool, all kinds of sports fields, entertainment for young and old, and a restaurant.

Welcome!

When you camp here, you enjoy a well-maintained, modern family campsite with all the facilities you could want. And the natural location of Côté Plage campsite in the middle of a forest and the dunes is also a big plus. There are one hundred touring pitches and sixty permanent annual pitches. These are separated by small hedges. The size of the pitches varies: 80-120 m2. There are also some ninety mobile homes.

Water fun at the campsite and beyond

An outdoor pool of about two hundred square metres is the place to cool off. There is something for children of all ages to enjoy thanks to the large slide and heated paddling pool. A terrace with bar is located next to the swimming complex. A five-minute walk takes you to a large sandy beach. Lay down your towel for a relaxing afternoon or run as fast as you can to the sea for a refreshing swim. This part of the ocean is popular with windsurfers.

Other facilities

The Côté Plage campsite has a nice shop with a very wide range of products. Next to the pool is a bar. For those with a big appetite, there is a restaurant and a pizzeria. The campsite plumbing is very clean and complete.

Liked - The new reception area is impressive , the staff at reception are helpful and very welcoming. We enjoyed our stay .
Disliked - Sign post saying there is a 24 hour toilet open and showing where it is.

Liked - Really loved the big site for our tent and the cafe area with comfy seats and free internet for a short time each day. The music night was amazing too. Loved the swimming pool and loungers :) I loved that visitors or friends were welcome for the day too. Also loved loved loved the fresh bread sold every morning for breakfast :))
Disliked - More sit down toilets and perhaps softer toilet roll. Sometimes the toilets could be cleaner, especially those by the swimming pool.

Liked - We loved staying at this friendly family campsite. We enjoyed the pool and the evening entertainment. The on site shop was great for essentials. The location is excellent in terms of being able to walk onto the beautiful sandy beach and also pick up the extensive cycle routes along the coast. There are lots of sports, activities and restaurants within a comfortable cycling distance.

Liked - First pitch was not big enough to fit motorhome on it had to look for another pitch. Seems silly not to ask for length of unit as tents seem to be on the bigger pitches. Would have to think twice about booking again as this is a problem.

Liked - Young team providing good service. Excellent fresh bakery stuff. Good evening entertainment.
Disliked - Lights on the ways could be lower in brightness if they would only illuminate the ways and noteverything and burn into eyes.

Liked - Good location, pitch size excellent
Disliked - Toilet seats please, made going to the toilet very unpleasant. Soap needed beside the sinks.

Teenagers were out of control by the pool, very loud, throwing their friends in etc, ended up having to leave as it wasn't relaxing getting splashed and the noise was too much. Shame, nice pool.
