Les Chouans in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez is a large five-star campsite in Vendée, roughly two kilometres from the sea. It's just a 15-minute walk through the woods to the beach of sand and pebbles. This luxury family campsite boasts a fantastic swimming paradise and offers plenty of entertainment for both young and old. The pitches in this large holiday park are located between the mobile homes.

Beautiful camping terrain

The pitches are separated from each other by half-height hedges. There are trees scattered throughout the site. Les Chouans has many mobile homes available for rent. There are also plenty of permanent pitches. The touring pitches are located between the mobile homes. The camping terrain is well-designed and maintained, including the rental accommodation, even though the mobile homes are very close together.

Safe water paradise

There is a spectacular swimming paradise next to the reception area. The heated outdoor pool boasts a gorgeous design with blue mosaic tile. There is also a large toddler pool with fun water jets as well as four water slides.

You can kick back and relax in the jacuzzi or drift along with the currents created in the swimming pool. The swimming pools are surrounded by palm trees, straw parasols and loungers. Lifeguards keep their eyes on the young swimmers (and the older ones!)

Entertainment for the whole family

During high season, Les Chouans offers an extensive entertainment and excursion programme for both children and adults. There is a mini club for the little ones and all kinds of activities are organised for teenagers. This means that you can often hear the music going until midnight. Luckily, the campsite is a good size and this won't affect you along the edges of the property. If you prefer peace and quiet during the evening, ask for a pitch farther away from the rumble of the festivities.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - The pool and slides very very good and the opening hours were good
Disliked - Bar area and restaurant were not open and there was no shop
